June 12th
So tomorrow is the day, your grade 8 leaving ceremony. I know that you have been thinking about this day since you were in grade 6. Tomorrow marks the beginning of your next step, High School. I expect great things from you. You are all so talented in such a delightful variety of ways. It has been my absolute pleasure to teach you all and I am finding it hard to give you up.
Now...there still might be school next week, if the bargaining team is able to reach an agreement. Stay tuned for that...you might not have got rid of me yet. ;-)

I cant believe that the year is over im actually kinda sad about it because of all the fun I had this year but im also excited for summer vacation..... and a little excited for tomorrow.... hehe....
ReplyDeleteAnd you looked stunning in your dress. A beautiful girl with a brilliant mind. It was my pleasure to teach you and to watch you tear up the field in rugby. Have a fun summer, Sabrina. I will miss you.
DeleteI will miss you
ReplyDeleteSam, the feeling is mutual. My year was a good one with you in my class. Thank goodness we live in the same town. Keep striving to do your best because it is so amazing. Have a great summer.
DeleteI have had an amassing 3 years with journey! I might have to flunk a grade or 2 so I can be back here :D ..nah just kidding but I will definitely miss journey because being here taught me to be myself and not give a d@-m what people think about it as long as im not the one in the wrong. Because if that's the case its better to apologise then drag out the fight ^_^ This will be the longest message ever because it may be the last e_e ....I am exited for the grad and am going to try to look my best for it plus it never hurts to have a good mood to go with it...To be honest im surprised at how short my time in journey was...When I first started it was like (Oh GREEEEAAAAT...middle school get me outa here...) But now its more of a (What I have to leave now! aaaawwww D:) I mean when I first started I didn't know I was going to be taught by teachers who hold bats, Have a fear of clowns, surfers, Make fun of their students but are normally kidding. It was mostly awesome and the exploratory's are epic! Was only tagged 1 time through out 3rd terms man tracker games!. I am a little frustrated that I didn't complete one of my biggest side goals but there is always next year. Yea that about sums up the last bit of my comment! I will miss all of my friends and class...will they miss me? :D
ReplyDeleteOh wait I want to just let people know that when I finally finish my book im writing all you got to do is ask for a copy and then you can read what I've been writing for all of 3rd term.(still not done x_X)
Cm ^_^
If you are not valedictorian of your graduating year, I will eat my hat, Cole. You have a way with words and keep crafting with those words. I look forward to the day that I walk in a book store and see your name on a novel. I will miss you. You are a strong kid with so much potential.
DeleteThank you. I know no other students are going to be creeping on my comments and if they are i don't care but Ill be honest. Most of middle school was ruff for me. I was bullied for 2 years by different jerks who i honestly couldn't care less about now but my last year was silver lining for me. I made tons of friends and actually 1 or 2 enemy's.. Started a novel i might be able to publish one day but ashamed to say i cant work on it tell the end of summer cause i messed up x_x. And i made a decision to stop being some bullies punching bag/(figure of speech)
Deleteand instead to start defending who i am rather then become who they want me to be. I don't think its fair to say i have the confidence to show my book when its done but one day i probably will. :)
This sounds like a story in itself, one that many students could relate to. Sometimes we feel we are alone in our struggle and when we start talking about it we soon realize we weren't and it helps. UVic has a great Creative Writing department, Cole. Work hard and point yourself in that direction. Have a great summer. :-)
DeleteI cant belive that the year is over I will miss you mrs.bridal

ReplyDeleteYou are a terrific student, Marc. Your words are music to my ears. Have a great summer. I hope that you enjoyed touring the aircraft carrier. It looked so cool and I could see you working on one just like it. All the best, see you around!!!
Deletei am going to miss you lots
ReplyDeleteMe too, Elizabeth. You are an amazing kid and you are destined for great things. See you soon....I don't like goodbyes.

It did go quickly, James. But do take your time to enjoy the summer. Check out Western Speedway on the weekend...great treasures there. I will miss you. You are a gem. Drop me a line here from time to time.
