Calendar Notes:

April 28th - Sexual Health Presentation

May 1 – Pro-D Day (no school for students)

May 18 – Victoria Day Holiday

June 19 – Last Day of School and Grade 8 School Leaving Ceremony

June 25 – Third Term Report Card Pick-up (Yes, the end is in sight, but you have a lot of learning to do between now and then; keep your focus, folks.)

Academic Notes:

English: We will be reading and focusing on Chapters 7 to 9 of The Outsiders. To prepare for final projects, we will review the marking rubric and work standards.

HCE: We will be using the Cornell Note format to record information on human reproduction. The notes will be graded and will serve as a mark for the third term.

French: Aller will be reviewed and practiced for a test at the end of the week. You should be presenting your lip syncs this week. (If you haven't finished, get started; lates are recorded and do impact your work habit mark)
