Monday is the start of Term 2
Multiples Day on Wednesday - Dress like each other. You could be a set of twins, triplets and beyond. Mrs Abell and I are going to have some fun with this one.
December 18th - Talent Show
Academic Notes:
English: We will continue reading, annotating and discussing the main concepts in The Giver. You will be reviewing how to use quotations in your writing because you will be developing your own Dystopic community and writing a short story about it.
S.S.: We will be looking at the shift from polytheist to monotheist religion in Europe. We will explore the Jewish, Christian and Islamic faiths; our focus will be on how religion was a force of change in the middle ages and continues to be an influencial factor in world politics.
French: You will be tested on the verb etre. We will be using that verb with adjectives to describe ourselves.
