This week, May 25th to 29th

Hope you had a great weekend. This is a gentle, but repeated, reminder that you are responsible for any work missed during absences. In other words, if you miss a class, you have to make up the lesson, the practice and the assignments. To do this you can: connect with classmates who were there, ask your teachers for help catching up at lunch or you can use this blog to help you be where you need to be. We are in the last stretch...don't stop working hard now.

Academic Notes:

English: In preparation for the final exam, we will be reviewing sentence fluency through technical writing. Our focus task will be writing instructions. (MND Booklets can be handed in on Monday; this was an extension).

HCE: Party Planning using DARE.

S.S.: You will get two class blocks to work on your plague project; the project is due on June 5th. We will look at the rise of towns and cities in the middle ages. To summarize the main points of the grade 8 SS curriculum and to prepare for the exam, we will be starting a review page.

French: You will review adjectives, the verb etre and how to make a negative statement.
