This week, May 4th to 8th

Welcome to May.

Academic Notes:

English:
You will be asked to submit your Student Comprehension packs on Monday, May 4th. You should be working on the project for the Outsiders at home as no class time will be provided (this is due on May 11th).
This week we will be starting a Shakespeare unit and will be looking at his play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream". So, we will also be playing around with theatre/film scripts as a part of the unit.

HCE:
We will finish our resumes to potential employers and we will consider how those resumes could be made stronger. As well, we will review child labour law as it applies to you.

S.S.:
We will continue to look at the cost benefit of war with a focus on the Crusades. Later in the week, we will move into the development of law and justice in the middle ages, a very important human need.

French:
You have a grammar test this coming Thursday (Div 2) and Friday (Div 5). Our grammar focus has been prepositions and the verb aller.
