Academic Notes:

Reach for the Top Teams - please have your teams organized by this Monday. If you don't have a team, we will be putting you on one.

Math - we will graph linear equations using coordinate points from a table of values. There won't be a test this week. Next week we will begin our year end review. Your course final is scheduled for Friday, June 12th.

Science - we will continue looking at ocean currents and explore some environmental concerns that are particular to oceans. There will be a test on tides and currents on Thursday.

S.S. - we will continue to look at the Scientific Revolution and begin the Renaissance biography presentations. (Your essays are due on Monday. The presentations will be completed by next week)

And now for something completely revolting, Mr Horner's bee-bitten leg. He officially wins a prize for Mantracker's most wounded after he battled with a swarm of bees last Thursday.
For an entry, the word is: "Gross!"

  1. And now mr.horner understands what was going through my head when my friend sat on a bees nest and was able to hear them before we were completely swarmed ^_^ Me and my friend's got away by sliding down a big hill during man tracker but it looks like Mr. Horner wasn't as lucky as us. Poor guy.
I'm totally going to wear my Pj's on monday and I don't give a crap what my classmates think about it. Have a good day everyone and see you Monday.

  2. I will allow the c word in this context as I do believe in the sentiment. We should never be over concerned with what others think; it is very limiting. Besides, I like wearing PJ's to school and Mr Horner has to because the swelling is still preventing him from wearing shoes. Poor Mr Horner. See you tomorrow CM.
